Dining with David: Zed451

Well, it was bound to happen; my co-worker and myself, traveling together the past two weeks, have had good but not great food; this was about to change.  After a long day of work and a little research of local activities, we thought we wanted steak; best we could do was a 09:30 reservation; not going to happen.  I decided to punt back to our original choice last night, a restaurant called Zed451.  This is the best choice we could have made.
What a great atmosphere and wonderful service; everyone was pleasant and truly wanted to have fun and assist anyway they could.  With great atmosphere and service, only thing left is the food.  Not to be disappointed, the food was wonderful.  We had grilled ribeye, asian pork belly, salt cod brandade, red deer, blackened catfish, moroccan chicken, ahi tuna with miso soy vinaigrette, rump roast, citrus dusted atlantic salmon, amaretto & pistachio duck breast, buttermilk bottom sirlon and the topped with truffle oil bread.  The food was fantastic.  Not to be outdone, we ended with a piece of banana cream pie (caramelized bananas, crunchy brittle outside with a homemade chocolate guinness ice cream); this is not any dessert I have had before; this was just fantastic (wish my bride could have been here).
Wow, what a great meal!
