Well, what another great day. Visited Hickory, NC and then back to downtown Asheville for the Mast General Store and Grove Arcade. Then came back to our nice hotel, the Hilton, and we both got a wonderful massage from the Sparrow Spa. With that kind of day, no need to go out for dinner. We ordered room service and we did good. It came hot and fresh, the bread was still steaming, and was a very good meal. We had the arugula salad to start; then had the special of the day, blackened salmon with pineapple salsa and finger potatoes. The salmon had a good texture and tasted great. The best part, and surprise, was the sweet potato fries; these things were lightly fried with a slight coating; no need to put anything on these things; we just downed them. What a great meal to have in-room.
