We got the chance for one of our customers to take us to a special, local Italian restaurant off of the Golden Highway in PA. This place is unique in that it is designed for jazz festivals and even wedding ceremonies. I asked for their famous dish and was told their pizza. So, I ordered their personal (10") Meat Lover’s Pizza that included pepperoni, hot sausage, ham, bacon and meatball; yes, that did include pieces of a meatball. It had a homemade crust that was cooked in a pizza open with a solid crust; great taste. You can always tell the true Italian places by the meat and cheese they utilize; the best is the smaller, better tasting pepperonis that have crispy edges and are never greasy. I could only eat two pieces which left some for me to eat on the plane ride back home.
